During a meeting held on July 7, 2024, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz endorsed the scholarship initiative aimed at undergraduate students.
The scholarship, part of the “Punjab Honehar MERIT Scholarship Program,” is awarded to students based on academic merit.
Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz directed an increase in the scholarship quota from 4000 to 25000 seats.
Under the “Punjab Honehar MERIT Scholarship Program,” eligible students from both public and private institutions will have their tuition fees fully covered provided they meet the merit criteria.
Additionally, she instructed the swift implementation of the laptop distribution scheme.
